I often say that my dad is my hero. But if we’re being honest? There’s someone else who deserves a little more credit: 20-year-old me.

    All the arrows aligned for me in engineering, interest, aptitude and drive. It hasn’t resulted in wealth but it did move me from poverty all the way up to middle class! 🤓 I’m proud of you for sticking with your heart Stephanie!

    Love this. I may have been in that Calc class w Pappenfus w you sophomore year. I got a C+, wrapped up my math/science requirements and called it a day for that category. Pappenfus was hard to understand. You made a brave decision that day that was true to you, hats off to you 🙂

    This post is just so everything. I’m going to send it to everyone I know with kids graduating.. everyone I know who needs/ wants/ deep down desires to do the thing that deep down delights them. Also, “And then college did what college does.” You crack me up!
