Why Stephanie?

All writers are different, and my experience sets me apart.

I offer a unique perspective on business

I’m a former small-business owner. In 2006, I launched The Organized Parent, an ecommerce site offering product and tips to streamline family life, and I sold the company five years later to Franklin Covey. With an insider’s perspective, I write about issues facing business leaders for magazines such as Fast Company, Entrepreneur, and SUCCESS, and top brands like Staples, LinkedIn, Shopify, Epson, ADP and Oracle.

I know real estate

In fact, it’s in my blood. I come from a long line of real estate professionals, and my parents were house flippers before it became reality TV. I’ve written for American Business Quarterly, Green Building & Design and Green Builder magazines. For 13 years, I was a real estate reporter for The Tennessean, covering new construction and interior design. I’m also the former associate editor of TwentyOne, a magazine published for Century 21.

I get page views

My work at Fast Company is often among the most popular stories each month. In fact, I wrote the most-read Work Life article for 2017 and 2018I was also named one of the top business writers to follow by HubSpot

And I won’t flake out

When I asked my clients for testimonials, I was surprised how many mentioned that I meet my deadlines. Is it optional?? If you hire me, I’ll deliver what you need when you need it. I’m creative and easy to work with, and it’s my goal to make you happy.
